Broccoli Steak Salad
This healthy salad keeps well and gets better as it marinates, unlike other salads and slaw, where the dressing is best kept separate until serving. The only thing to keep separate until meal time is the cherry tomatoes, which will taste best if they have not been refrigerated.

  1. Trim and rinse the broccoli florets, removing excess stems and leaves.
  2. Steam the broccoli lightly for 3-4 minutes, taking care that it does not soften.
  3. Trim any excess fat from the steak.
  4. Grill the steak to desired doneness.
  5. Combine the broccoli, green onions steak and dressing to mix well, then chill.
  6. When ready to eat, cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add to mixture.
  7. Nutritional content is shown separately for dressing.
