This is really two recipes in one. Depending on your preference, you can make a Carrot/Ginger/Apple version or a Kale/Spinach/Arugula version with greens. Both are healthy and delicious!

Carrot-Ginger-Apple Smoothie
  1. Place all the ingredients in your blender and blend! For the Carrot-Ginger-Apple smoothie, if you find the texture grainy, you can bake the apple and carrots (about 45 minutes at 350) in advance, the texture will be smoother. You can also experiment with peaches or other fruit, and try a high-power Nutribullet-type blender.
Kale-Spinach-Arugula Smoothie
  1. Place all the ingredients in your blender and blend! The Kale-Spinach-Arugula smoothie can be made with any combination of Kale, Arugula and Spinach, or all of one or another. The main goal is to get your greens! You can also add green super food powder if you want to add extra nutrition.
